
Corporate Dinner in Harrods Home of Wine

A world-renowned reputation for excellence pervades every inch of Harrods, the epitome of British luxury and quality goods for over 100 years. A recent innovation has seen a specialty opportunity arise for hosting a corporate dinner or entertaining in the stunning Harrods Tasting Room. Opened in 2011, the brand new wine shop is a contemporary lower-ground floor space dedicated to the display of many of the 3,000 outstanding brands of wine, champagne, cigars and cognacs sold in store. In addition to the bottles themselves, the wine shop also houses many wine-themed gifts, glassware, and the hidden tasting room.
For fine dining or private corporate events, few other private rooms can lend as much luxury to a wine experience. On arrival guests can tour though the wine shop with a celebrated sommelier, browse the spirits or champagne collection or try tasty canapés before their corporate dinner. Butlers can stand to attention to welcome your guests through to the tasting room. Warm and contemporary, the solid wood dining table seats up to 16 people for a corporate dinner, with plenty of space for a standing reception in the wine shop or in the room itself.
World-renowned Riedel glassware and decanters adorn the table and a plasma screen can be used for branding or a special presentation. As befits the home of the greatest food halls on the planet, catering for your corporate dinner can range from informal charcuterie boards and tapas through to multi-course fine dining menus provided by the in-house catering team at the Georgian Restaurant. Wines can be chosen from the extensive in-house range, or we can make recommendations to suit your requests and menu style.
We can even arrange for specific vintages to be sourced for the occasion. If you prefer to opt for a tasting without dinner, up to 18 people can comfortably take part in a tasting of your choosing, conducted by Harrods highly qualified team of wine professionals. The wine component can be educational or as fun or serious as you like. A huge range of wine tasting themes can be chosen from; by region, grape variety, old or new world, or even creating a bespoke tasting format to suit your needs. Needless to say, we can also arrange for the wine shop to be kept open late for your inspired guests to indulge in some retail therapy following their corporate dinner or event.
